First Impressions - Last

First impressions can make your dreams come true. Display your greatness and you can spark off romance between two strangers.

Your appearance is initially what people will judge you by and first impressions are formed within only 30 seconds.  However if your appearance and attitude is less than inspiring your perceived in a negative light, it could take several more occasions to reverse this poor first impression.  Therefore, it is vital that you and your clothes convey positive and messages as very rare or none.

To help you with making that great first impression here are some guidlines:

1. Be interested and interesting. Listen actively to what your date says. Ask questions and don't interrupt.

2. Dress attractively but comfortably. Don't wear clothes that make you feel stiff or self-conscious.

3. Compliment your date. Don't just say 'I like your shirt.' Be sincere and notice something that he or she took time with.

4. Be aware of your posture - it speaks volumes about you. You want to appear alert and confident by sitting up straight.

5. Realize that you don't have to tell people how amazing you are. It's better to show them instead.

6. Learn to flirt and try it out. Don't overdo it, though.

7. Enjoy yourself, no matter what. If you're easygoing and fun to be around and if you can roll with whatever comes your way, you can't help  

   but make a great impression.

8. Thank the other person for the date - always, without exception. Good manners will get you far.

9. Don't talk about anything negative or complain on a first date.

10. Be cautious about drinking - it will give you a false sense of confidence and your inhibitions will be lowered. You may say or do things

     you'll regret later.
